The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley began soliciting sponsorships for the Kiwanis Annual 4th of July Parade, held in downtown Danville, California, in the mid-1990's as a means of funding our grants program. Since then, more than $1,000,000 has been raised and awarded through the Kiwanis grants program, benefiting nearly 80 nonprofits in the San Ramon Valley area, including over $50,000 in the last year alone.

Each year, we receive 35-40 grant applications for committee review, including 7-10 new applications. All applicants must be IRS-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofits and priority is given to organizations whose mission directly serves the residents of the San Ramon Valley region.
